This paper analyses a method by which chaos is generated using electronic circuits. The chaos generator required for this purpose is based on utilizing the one dimensional piece wise linear Bernoulli Shift map. The iterative map is realized using a feedback system consisting of programmable amplifier and a unity-gain sample-and-hold amplifier. The sample and hold amplifier provides necessary delay while the programmable amplifier traces the map. The digital chaotic sequence is generated by feeding the output of the sample and hold circuit to an analog to digital converter (ADC). A comparison of the original Bernoulli map with the map implemented through integrated chaos generator is also done.
